Hannah Scarbro, Programs Chair

Hannah is the Project Administrator for the Global Project Management Office at AFL Telecommunications, headquartered in Duncan, South Carolina. Hannah joined AFL in 2019 to help roll out the new Global Project Management Office in hopes of gaining better Project Management competencies throughout the global company and to streamline PM processes in order to capitalize on the projected project benefit and bring projects in on target and within budget.  Hannah gained her CAPM certification for project management in 2017 while she was working in Austin, TX as a Project Manager. She graduated from North Greenville University with an MA in Theatre - Tech and Design.  Hannah is married to Aaron Scarbro and has one daughter, Arwen Scarbro (2yr).

Hobbies: Hannah enjoys reading, baking, playing with her daughter, and game nights.

Why SYP: Hannah joined SYP shortly after moving back to Spartanburg in 2019. She wanted a way to get involved, learn more about her community, give back to others, and get to know new people in the same walk of life.

Why Spartanburg: Spartanburg was the dream for the Scarbro family. Hannah’s husband grew up in the area and living near family was where we wanted to be. In addition, we love the location of Spartanburg. We’re close enough to head to the mountains for the weekend or the beach! We love that Spartanburg is large enough to give us a sense of community but small enough that we don’t encounter some of the cons that come in living in a big city.
